The Asutifi North District has commenced this year’s WASH service monitoring exercise. The exercise will involve collecting data on the functionality of water facilities and the performance of water and sanitation management teams. The data collection will track WASH facilities in schools, healthcare facilities, and communities in the district.
The data collection will rely on enumerators from the Water Unit of the District Works Department, Environmental Health and Sanitation Department, District Planning and Coordinating Unit, Department of Social Welfare, District Education Office, and the District Health Directorate.
The four-week exercise will also involve collecting and testing water samples from selected facilities in the district.
