World Vision Ghana to drill ten new boreholes in the Asutifi North District in 2021

· news

World Vision Ghana intends to drill ten new boreholes in five deprived communities in 2021. This intervention is in support of the Asutifi North District Assembly’s vision for achieving universal basic water access by 2030. The beneficiary communities are Wamahinso, Antwi Krom, Kokofu Anwua, Amamaso, and Tawiakrom.

As part of the activities for providing the boreholes, World Vision Ghana has already commenced hydrogeological studies in the beneficiary communities in January. The organization expects to identify suitable sites and begin drilling by March 2021.
